There are several engines to choose from for the Ram 3500, allowing drivers to customize the amount of power they need to match their requirements. The 6.7-liter high output V8 diesel engine provides the most power and extends the range of capabilities.
With a best in class torque of 1,075 pound-feet and 410 horsepower with the diesel engine, drivers can tow up to 37,000 pounds, enough power for a fully loaded RV, horse trailer, boat or multiple smaller recreational vehicles.
The 3500 includes a range of available options to improve the towing and hauling process, like a truck bed that can lower to make attaching a trailer easier, a cross member installed at the factory for securely towing a fifth wheel vehicle, advanced tow mirrors that include five camera viewpoints for monitoring trailer status and pressure readings for the trailer tires.
