Winter brings with it a set of demands that require appropriate adjustments. Take the wiper blades, for instance. Their importance more than doubles in winter as visibility becomes the single element that can make a world of difference during winter driving. But what are some possible defects on wiper blades?
- First, ensure that the blades are firmly held within the frame at all the attachment points. If they are not, their movement back and forth will not be as smooth and they will not leave your windshield as clear as it should be.
- Then there is the all-important part known as the squeegee. It is the sort of spongy part that contacts and wipes the windshield. Ensure there are no cracks, tears or separation from the holder.
It's easy to find fortified winter wiper blades that can endure the frequent use and the cumulative frost, water and other substances on the windshield. They offer better performance when you need them the most.
